Non-Profit 501(c) – Individual Membership

As a token of my appreciation for all that you and your fellow non-profit warriors do, we will comp your $50 annual membership fee.

I spent several years supporting non-profits as a participant, retailer, sponsor, and board member. Non-profits have always been undervalued in my eyes because their greatest, yet humble, efforts are too often taken for granted. One of, if not the most valuable asset to non-profits surrounding the Bicycle Industry is participation. Participation directly affects both individual & sponsor-sourced funding and less funding makes it more difficult to maximize their purpose. I want to help you with that.

Industry Grease is a collaborative communication hub designed to bring each segment of our industry together, to learn ways we can better serve our customers. Our goal is to better support the customer so in return, they will better support us. One of the best ways to support our customers is through the efforts of our non-profits. Whether you help with cycling safety & awareness, trail access, business growth, community participation & inclusion, or have built a cycling community to raise funds for important causes, the feedback you share & gain will be valued by all.

Non-profits get the same access as everyone else except in the private Retailer & Supplier Forums. While we try to stir things up through our comment-riddled articles and the Industry Grease Podcast, the really good dirt can be found in the Industry Hub! There, everyone in the Bicycle Industry can start, participate, and observe in conversations covering topics started by our very own members! And don’t miss out on the sultry anonymous advice column, Dear Bicycle Industry where Industry Guest will hand out who knows what kind of advice. We even have Private Messaging for those who want to keep things off-grid or exchange dirty pics of your bicycles.

In order to qualify for our comped Non-Profit membership, you must be employed by or an *official board member of a 501(c) Non-Profit that is directly associated with the Bicycle Industry. Memberships to non-profit organizations & standard volunteers don’t qualify but we will try to make considerations for special circumstances.

* (If you are associated with a non-profit but work in another segment of the Bicycle Industry, you must join through one of the paid membership plans (we require this because we want to be sure you have access to the private forums associated with your profession).
